Who can enroll in this diploma?

Anyone who has a genuine interest in fire safety, emergency response, and industrial protection can consider enrolling in a Diploma in Fire Technology and Safety. The basic eligibility criteria to join this course is that the student must have passed the 10th grade (matriculation) from a recognized educational board such as CBSE, ICSE, or any state board in India.

Most Diploma in Fire Technology and Safety Colleges in Delhi NCR, including reputed institutes like Puran Murti Campus, require the applicant to have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their 10th standard. However, candidates with higher academic performance or those who qualify through entrance exams like AIE CET (All India Engineering Common Entrance Test) may have better chances of getting scholarships or merit-based admission.

Additionally, students who have completed 10+2 (intermediate), especially in science or vocational streams, may also be eligible for lateral entry into the second year of the diploma program. This allows them to complete the course faster and dive into the technical core directly.

The course is open to both male and female candidates, and there is no strict requirement for prior technical knowledge. All that’s needed is a basic academic qualification, physical fitness for field training, and a strong willingness to serve in safety-critical environments.
