Step 1: How to Apply Online
The very first thing you need to do is tell the college that you are interested in joining their B.Tech Computer Science program. You do not even need to leave your house to do this!
You simply open your mobile phone or laptop and visit the official Puran Murti Vidyapeeth website.
Look for a big button that says "Apply Now" or "Admission 2026."
When you click it, a simple digital form will open. You just need to type in your basic details, like your full name, your active mobile number, your email address, and the course you want to study. Once you click "Submit," your name is officially registered in the college system.
Because B.Tech Computer Science is a very popular course, the college needs a fair way to choose the best students. They usually look at two main things to make their decision:
Your 12th-Grade Marks (Merit List): If you studied hard in school and got great marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), the college will put your name high up on their selection list. This is called a merit-based selection.
Your Entrance Exam Scores: Many students take national engineering tests like the JEE Main. If you gave this exam and got a good score, you can show your scorecard to the college. A good entrance exam score acts like a VIP pass, making your selection very fast and easy.
After the college looks at everyone's marks and test scores, they create a "Shortlist." If your marks are good, your name will be on this winning list! Once you are shortlisted, the college will invite you to visit the campus for "Document Verification." This is just a simple security check to make sure all your details are true and correct. You will need to bring:
Your original 12th-class mark sheet.
A valid government ID proof (like your Aadhar Card).
A few recent passport-size photographs. The admission teachers will look at your original papers, verify that everything is real, and then return the original papers safely right back into your hands.
This is the final and happiest step of the whole process! Once your documents are completely verified and approved by the teachers, you will be asked to pay your first-semester college fees. You can pay this fee online, through a bank draft, or at the college fee counter. The exact moment your fee receipt is printed, your seat in the B.Tech Computer Science program is 100% confirmed and safely locked. Your journey to becoming a software engineer has officially begun!
