KEAM 2026, also known as the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination, is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to various professional undergraduate courses in Kerala. It is organised every year by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, which is responsible for managing the complete admission process.
This entrance exam is mainly conducted for students who wish to pursue courses like B.Tech (Engineering), B.Arch (Architecture), and B.Pharm (Pharmacy) in government, aided, and private colleges across the state. KEAM is one of the most important exams for students planning to build a career in technical and professional fields in Kerala.
Every year, a large number of students appear for KEAM to compete for limited seats in reputed colleges. The exam tests candidates on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus. It is designed to check both conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability.
For engineering admissions, the final rank is prepared by giving 50% weightage to KEAM exam scores and 50% to Class 12 marks in relevant subjects. This combined evaluation helps ensure a fair selection process.
