A good score in MHT-CET 2026 depends on the college and course you are targeting, but generally, a score above 130 marks is considered good. With this score, students can get admission into decent engineering or pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra.
If you score 150+ marks, it is considered a very good performance. At this level, your chances of getting admission into well-known and reputed colleges increase significantly. You may also have better options while choosing your preferred branch during counselling.
For admission to top government or highly ranked colleges, students usually need 170+ marks or a very high percentile (around 99+). These colleges have high competition, so higher scores are required to secure a seat, especially in popular branches like Computer Science or IT.
