What are the eligibility criteria for enrolling in this diploma?

To enrol in a Polytechnic in Aeronautical Engineering at Puran Murti Campus, students must have passed class 10 from a recognised board. It is recommended that students have studied Mathematics and Science as part of their 10th-grade curriculum, as these subjects form the foundation for understanding aeronautical concepts.

Some colleges may have minimum percentage requirements, usually around 35–50% in aggregate, to ensure students are prepared for technical subjects. Candidates with higher grades may also get preference for admissions or scholarships.

In addition to academic eligibility, students should be medically fit because practical training involves handling aircraft components and tools, which requires good physical and mental health.

For students who have completed ITI or 12th grade in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), lateral entry into the second year of the diploma may be available, providing an accelerated path to completing the program.
