Is MHT-CET 2026 a difficult exam?

MHT-CET 2026 is not considered a very difficult exam, especially when compared to national-level exams like JEE Main. The level of questions is generally moderate and mainly based on the Class 11th and Class 12th syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board. This makes it more familiar and manageable for students who have studied their school subjects properly.

The exam focuses on core concepts from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Most questions are direct and concept-based rather than highly tricky or complicated. Around 80% of the paper comes from Class 12th topics, so students who have a strong understanding of their board syllabus can perform well.

With proper preparation, regular revision, and practice of previous year papers, students can easily improve their accuracy and speed. Taking mock tests also helps in understanding the exam pattern and managing time effectively during the actual exam.

Another advantage is that there is no negative marking in MHT-CET 2026. This allows students to attempt all questions without fear of losing marks for wrong answers, which increases the chances of scoring higher.
