Yes, document verification is a compulsory and very important step in Maharashtra DTE Polytechnic Admission. Without completing this process, your application will not be considered valid, and you will not be allowed to participate in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds.
After filling out the online application form, students must upload all required documents, such as the Class 10 mark sheet, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. These documents are then verified by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, to confirm that all the details provided by the student are correct and genuine.
Students are given two options for verification. The first is E-Scrutiny, which is an online verification process where documents are checked digitally. The second option is Physical Scrutiny, where students need to visit a facilitation centre for in-person document verification. Both methods are valid, and students can choose the one that is more convenient for them.
It is very important to upload clear and correct documents. If there are any mistakes, missing documents, or unclear scans, your application may be rejected or delayed. However, DTE usually provides a chance to correct errors within a given time.
