The very first thing you need to do is tell the college that you want to study there. You have two easy ways to do this:
Online Method: You can sit at home, open your laptop or mobile phone, and visit the official website of Puran Murti Vidyapeeth. There, you will find an "Apply Now" button. You just need to type in your name, contact number, and basic school details.
Offline Method: If you prefer to see the college first, you can visit the college campus directly. You can go to the admission office, take a paper form, fill it out with a pen, and hand it back to the staff.
Once you submit your form, the college teachers will check if you meet the basic rules to join the Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME).
The main rule is that you must have passed your 10th standard (Matriculation) board exams.
You also need to have scored a minimum of 45% total marks in your 10th class. If your marks are 45% or higher, you easily pass this step! They will also check to ensure you are medically fit and do not have color blindness, as this is a strict safety rule for working on airplanes.
After checking all the application forms, the college moves to the selection phase.
Merit List: The college will make a list of all the students who applied, usually arranged by their 10th-class marks. If you have good marks, your name will be high up on this list.
Counseling: Do not let this word confuse you! In college admissions, "counseling" simply means a friendly meeting. The college will invite you to the campus. During this meeting, they will guide you about the course, answer your questions, and officially offer you a seat in the AME batch.
This is the final step to lock in your seat safely.
Document Verification: The college needs to see your real papers to prove your identity and marks. You will need to bring your original 10th mark sheet, your Aadhar card (or other ID proof), and a few passport-size photographs. The staff will check these original papers and give them right back to you.
Fee Payment: Once your papers are checked and approved, you will pay your first-semester college fees. You can pay this online, through a bank draft, or in cash. The moment you pay your fee, your admission is 100% final and successful!
