What subjects are covered in the first year of BAMMC?

During their first year of the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication (BAMMC) students acquire fundamental subjects that establish essential media study principles. Two fundamental core subjects comprise Effective Communication about verbal and written communication while Fundamentals of Mass Communication provides education about media functions and history. The two subjects Introduction to Digital Media and Sociology & Economics deliver essential knowledge about digital platforms and structural dynamics impacting the media market.

The undergraduate curriculum incorporates Media & Culture as well as History of Media and Marketing & Public Relations with branding and corporate communication being studied separately. Students who study Content Writing & Journalism receive instruction on news reporting as well as creative writing and storytelling techniques. The curriculum teaches students about media procedures and develops their expertise so they can work in advertising and journalism as well as public relations and digital content production during the advanced stages of their education.
