A Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) curriculum teaches an extensive selection of subjects which provide students with needed understanding and abilities to succeed in media and communication fields. The core curriculum of the program features Introduction to Journalism, Media Laws and Ethics, Mass Communication Theories along with Digital Media studies. The educational content of these subjects teaches students about journalism principles alongside ethical reporting standards and media social effects. Students develop news writing competence through Reporting and Editing courses and Broadcast Journalism and Photojournalism classes teach them fundamental editing techniques with visual story creation methods.
Students enrolled in the BJMC program learn journalism-specific subjects as well as they learn Public Relations and Advertising, Corporate Communication, and Media Management to become prepared for roles in PR agencies and corporate media houses. The educational program includes contemporary media elements including Social Media Marketing and Data Journalism together with Film Studies education to fit students for modern media industries. Mature industry readiness results from students' practical education received through workshops and internships.
