The BA LLB (Hons) program combines integrated legal and arts studies to deliver both law theory and humanities and social science knowledge to students. Students pursuing the arts component of their studies encounter Political Science Sociology Economics History and English classes which provide essential knowledge about the social economic and political realm governing law. The curriculum builds analytic abilities coupled with critical thinking and expanded comprehension of social behaviors and administrative structures.
The law component of the course teaches students basic legal fundamentals that include Constitutional Law and Criminal Law alongside Contract Law and Administrative Law and Family Law and Property Law. The curriculum includes additional specialized fields that extend beyond core legal concepts with Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Rights and International Law and Environmental Law and Human Rights Law. Through meaningful practical experiences including moot courts, legal aid clinics, internships and case studies the program delivers realistic legal training to its students.
