How long does the diploma last?

The Polytechnic in Aeronautical Engineering diploma is a three-year program that is divided into six semesters. Each semester usually lasts about six months, and it is carefully structured to balance both theory and practical learning.

In the first year, students are introduced to the basics, such as engineering mathematics, applied physics, aircraft basics, and workshop practices. This year is more about building a strong foundation, so even students coming directly after 10th can adjust to the technical subjects.

The second year focuses on more specialized aeronautical topics. You will study subjects like aerodynamics, aircraft materials, propulsion systems, and aircraft structures. At the same time, practical sessions in labs and workshops help you connect classroom concepts with real-world applications.

The final year (third year) is all about applying your knowledge. Students learn advanced subjects like aircraft systems, avionics, maintenance practices, and aviation legislation. A major highlight of this year is industrial training or internships with aviation companies, airlines, or maintenance organizations. This gives you hands-on experience and helps you prepare for jobs right after graduation.

By the end of the three-year diploma, you are not only equipped with technical knowledge but also gain skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership. This structure makes the program highly effective for students who want to start their career early in the aviation industry.
