UDAAN Student Club – Puran Murti Vidyapeeth
The UDAAN Student Club of Puran Murti Vidyapeeth is a dynamic platform that empowers students to rise beyond academics and engage in meaningful community outreach, personal development, and social responsibility. Established with the motto “Inspire, Serve, and Soar,” UDAAN aims to nurture leadership, empathy, and social awareness among students while fostering a sense of belonging and contribution to society.
The primary purpose of UDAAN is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world social engagement. The club encourages students to channel their creativity, knowledge, and energy towards initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of others—thereby promoting holistic education in line with the institution’s vision of producing responsible global citizens.
Club Description
The club comprises active members from Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and Education disciplines, reflecting the diversity and inclusiveness of the college community.
The club functions through well-organised committees that focus on:
- Social Outreach and Community Service

- Education and Literacy Drives

Objectives of UDAAN
- To encourage student participation in social, environmental, and humanitarian causes.

Outreach Activities and Achievements (AY 2024–25)
During the academic year 2024–25, UDAAN undertook a range of impactful outreach and awareness activities across diverse domains:
- Blood Donation Awareness and Drive
Organised in collaboration with local hospitals and NGOs, the event encouraged voluntary blood donation and educated students about its life-saving importance. - Clean College–Green College Campaign
A college-wide cleanliness and plantation drive promoting environmental sustainability and Swachh Bharat Mission ideals. - Health and Hygiene Awareness Programs
Conducted workshops in nearby schools and villages on personal hygiene, menstrual health, and nutrition awareness, especially for adolescent girls. - Literacy and Digital Learning Campaign
UDAAN members volunteered to teach underprivileged children basic literacy and digital skills, helping bridge educational gaps in rural areas. - Social Welfare Visits and Celebrations
Visits to old-age homes, orphanages, and differently abled centres were organised, where students interacted with residents, distributed essential items, and shared festive joy. - Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Drive
Students, in collaboration with local authorities, spread awareness on responsible driving and pedestrian safety through posters, skits, and rallies. - Women Empowerment and Beti Bachao–Beti Padhao Campaign
UDAAN actively participated in awareness rallies, seminars, and poster-making competitions supporting girl child education and gender equality. - Community Health Check-Up Camps
Free medical camps were organised in nearby rural areas with the support of faculty and healthcare partners to provide basic health checkups and consultations.
